Picture of the Week - Week 40

I've had my wading boots for almost two years and this, this was the morning I discovered that I'm not invincible. While searching the depths with my flashlight in the pre-dawn gloom a saw what I thought was a two-foot long fish close to shore. It didn't like the light and began to move. That's when I realized it was a large submerged turtle, most likely of the snapping variety. Despite the revelation – I continued to snap but will forever be more wary.
